HomeRoots Brand Policy on East.Homes E-commerce Platform

Applicability

This policy is exclusively applicable to purchases of HomeRoots products via the East.Homes e-commerce platform. For purchases made through other retail channels, please reach out directly to the respective retailer's customer service.

Privacy Assurance

We prioritize your privacy. Only authorized employees with a legitimate need access customer information to provide superior service. We adhere to strict data review protocols and comply with legal standards against unauthorized data and system activities, reserving the right to take legal action against infractions.

Order Cancellation and Returns

  • Cancellations: To cancel an order, written notification is required. Submission of a cancellation request doesn't guarantee cancellation. We will evaluate if cancellation is feasible based on the order's processing stage. Orders that are already dispatched or in transit may not be eligible for cancellation. Re-routing requests for dispatched orders incur a 10% restocking fee and return shipping charges.

  • Refused Deliveries: A 10% restocking fee and return shipping costs apply to refused orders.

  • Cancellation Notice: A minimum of 72 hours' notice is required for cancellations, accepted via various communication modes, confirmed in writing. Funds may be retained for 90 days post-cancellation in dispute cases.

  • Service Termination and Refunds: Both parties can terminate service agreements for any reason. Refunds are not provided for services already initiated. Payments for unused services will be refunded.

  • Damage and Defects: Damage or defect claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery with detailed photographic evidence. Claims made beyond this period may not be addressed.

  • Returns: Return requests, including those due to buyer's remorse, must be emailed for review. Returns must be authorized, sent to the correct address, and in original, saleable condition to be eligible for credit. After 30 days from delivery, returns for buyer's remorse are not credited. Return credits, less shipping costs, are issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, unless the error is on HomeRoots' part. A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns from 10/1/2021.

Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are visible upon adding items to your cart, with stable rates for parcel items and estimated flat rates for LTL (freight truck) deliveries. LTL rates are subject to change, and any adjustments will require your consent before order processing. Shipping rates can be found in the product data section on our site.

Commitment to Privacy

Your personal data is treated with utmost confidentiality and is not shared outside the outlined policy. Personal information collected is used for order processing, account verification, and communication regarding order status. Email communications include newsletters, special offers, and surveys, with an option to unsubscribe at any time. Promotional materials may also be sent to the provided postal address.
